Lived Experience — Range — Passion — Commitment

I have integrated lessons from the many chapters I have lived so far over my almost seven decades on this earth. I bring that wealth of experience to my work to give it texture and authenticity. I am strongly committed to all that I take on, and I will work tirelessly to bring your project to the best result possible.

I spent the first 30 years of my life in New York City, immersed in theater, dance and music. I moved to Boston for graduate school and ended up staying. I am a mother and a wife; I have traversed the disability, LGBTQ+, and transracial adoption worlds; I have worked in many fields; and I have been an organizer for many social justice initiatives. I strive to live my life as, in Pema Chödrön’s words, a compassionate warrior.

These last few years have been a whirlwind of changes for me – in just a few years I got married again, retired, bought a house, got new knees and a new dog…and started on my journey into voiceover! Through the Lau Lapides Company’s Talent Inner Circle (TIC) I have grown to include radio plays and live improv shows. Initially thinking I was suited only for drama, I discovered I had a talent for comedy, too. Who knew?!  I am having the time of my life, and I would love to find what projects you have in the works that I could contribute to!
